Sorry guys, it's been awhile since I've blogged....
I lost my phone after my last post and have lost motivation to blog without pictures. And also, I've been SUPER busy!
Anyway, I saw Thor with one of my best friends Nabil last week. Suffice it to say, I'm starting to work out for serious now.....
I've made a workout schedule and diet and everything! Wish me luck!!!!!!!!
Props to my girl Kanal! She finished the MS150 bike ride from Houston to Austin this weekend!

All in all a fun weekend! Started out with work on Friday and Saturday, then drove up to Austin Saturday night. Went and got some bawller chicks and painted the downtown red. Almost got booty herpes from a couple people. Woke up next morning and got us the most undiverse variety of assorted donuts... I suck. Also everyone was lactose intolerant but me, so the gallon of milk was a fail.
Then met up with Paiam and FINALLY had our 3rd extreme day!

a year ago and wanted to do them on a regular basis.
We did 2 before I moved to Houston...
So I was looking forward to it all week.... we went to Sculpture Falls. We set out on our quest!!
We had to take The Ring to .... Golem?
Unfortunately there wasn't enough water for the Falls to ....fall. No waterfall, but we did find a rope swing! It was tricky cuz there was a boulder in the rope's path, and also rocks all around a small pool that was MAYBE deep enough to jump in.
Being the MAN that I am, I decided to be the crash test dummy first. ALSO as a man, I was scared of the water being too cold.... fail.
Then here's Paiam bawlling outta control!! With his amazing pose both into and getting out of the water.
When we are around each other, only amazing happens. We're like the NBA but without basketball skills and haven't raped anyone.

After Extreme Adventure day, went to go cheer on the cyclists. Kanal was super tired and slept like a bitch! No...literally like a dog....

I played xbox and conquered Halo Reach from start to finish before Kanal woke up and we got dinner at midnight. We all went to bed at 2am. Woke up to start another Adventure DAY! Went kayaking at Town Lake and swam at Barton Springs.

Fun times; we raced, we jousted, we swam, I dougied.... had lunch and went to UT campus. Kanal ( a GIRL) went shopping at the Co-op for Texas gear. I went exploring around campus and saw some people I knew. When I would see people, I would ask them:

Congratulations to EVERYONE who finished the MS150! If you don't already know, these cyclists ride about 180 miles to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Great job!!
BIG NEWS!
The new MJ game for the xbox Kinect came out on Tuesday. I have been playing it nonstop and now finally have a chance to blog.
In addition to changing my shirt from all the dancing, I also had to change my underwear a couple of times.....
This game is amazing. I'm already a huge nerd as is, so if I'm saying THIS game is awesome..believe me, IT. IS. GREATNESS INCARNATE!
Which brings me to the next topic: We are throwing a HUGE MJ PARTY here in Houston on April 23rd. I have been thinking about it for months! I'm making a Billie Jean dancefloor for it! Soon we can all do this:

Lost my wallet this week, found it the next day. Got stung by a wasp today, then played soccer. Made an AMAZING goal with the outside of my foot between the keeper and the inside post.

Pretty much, I love to dance. Dancing always puts a smile on my face. Everyone should just dance when they feel down.

In any case, Friday night was a fun night for dancing! Thanks to Sanam who was born and thus allowed us to have a birthday outing! I am all about new dance moves... (although my opinion is that ALL {cool} dance is inspired from anything Michael Jackson has done already) but after mastering The Dougie, Walking it Out, Jerking, etc. etc. I have found the new move.
It may be a little known, but I haven't seen it get picked up in my circles yet.

So that's the new dance... but the new song that always gets me up and moving no matter WHERE I am is by a relatively unknown artist named Tabi Bonney. Basically I just like this one song so far but it is a DOOZY!
My friend Fahreen and I went to the Bayou City Art Festival today. In the spirit of being artsy fartsy....

So this festival won the 3rd best art festival in America in 2009. I HEARD it's #1 this year, but that was just hearsay. Anyway, I'm just trying to plug how awesome Houston is.
It was super fun! But it would have been more fun if I had about ten thousand bucks to spend, then I could have bought one, MAYBE two pieces of art. Seriously, some stuff was super cool and I wish I had some spare money to spend. But then there was the stupidest crap selling for like $1000.

That's some bullhonkey! I can dookey stuff better than half the "art" there. Actually, I have made some pretty cool art. FUNCTIONAL art at that!
I have this piece I made over my bed for when the magic happens. And by magic I mean needing a nightlight so that I don't pee my pants. It's MAGICAL!
It only cost me like $50, which is like a $2530 savings. It started out as I needed more light for my room so I got this hanging lamp. But the only wires they had were white or black. The white would have been off white and it would have looked douchy, so I got the black so it would be on purpose. Then I noticed my wall was pretty bare, but there was a wire right in the middle of it, so might as well make it look I preplanned it all and made the wire part of the painting!
Now that I'm looking at this picture I took of it, one can try to put an actual meaning to it? Like how about:

Everyone ends up in The Light, but it's your choice how you get there.
Or better yet, I do have a dimmer attached to the lamp so it can be bright like the picture or darker. That could add another layer to it...
In your path through life, choose the amount of light to give.
I don't know, I just made some stuff up off the top of my head. .......and it's 4am.
But I DO know that this is real art. The depth of its meaning, the magnificent subject, the shapes and strokes that cradle a most awe-inspiring face.
"Keyan"
I didn't paint it, a good friend Sabrina painted it a few years ago.
So me and some friends road tripped up to New Mexico for an eventful time! We took a day driving up to AngelFire, NM. Everything closes at 3pm apparently so we all went to bed hungry.
Next morning, real food. Then hit the slopes! 4pm, went to the donkey-est grocery store in town. Had no bread or honey mustard or chicken (good chicken), but we managed to make some amazing Parmesan Chicken and Fettucine that night. Errbody was super tired that night and went to bed fairly early at like midnight.
I woke up early to make breakfast for everyone... as an apology for going to ditch them the rest of the day as I try to hit up the super crazy black diamonds. I even packed a lunch in my backpack so I won't waste any time buying food.
Ice. Everything was ice. I got 2 nice gashes on my board before I decided to head back down the mountain. Luckily, errbody was hungry and what not and I met them all up for lunch. Then we all headed up to the top of the mountain and started putting the Winter Olympics to shame!
The girls went snow tubing as the guys .... took showers... and napped. EXTREME!
On the menu for dinner was an amazing lasagna where domination in an intense game of UNO occured, by ME! MUWAAHAHHA!!
Sleep.
I was awoken butt early in the morning. Why you ask? My friend was bored. That is all.
We all get up, pack up, and head to Taos. It's very scenic and we take pictures along the way and all through Taos. It was so serene and calm and you could feel the power of nature.
Just the kind of place a douchebag would fit in!
Please note the UBER cool RED beanie and not one, but need for TWO pairs of sunglasses! Only a really BEAST kind of guy can pull a pose like that.
We get into town and get some authentic New Mexican food (with blue corn!), then headed to the San Fransisco de Asis mission church. It was made in like 1800 out of adobe, pretty cool. Went souvenir shopping at the main plaza. Met this crazy lady. Saw some boobies. Lips were chapped.
Then went to this bridge over the Rio Grande River where there was amazing sunset.... unfortunately we were too busy goofing off to notice it too long.
We take the long way back because we heard that the road was haunted. Nothing happened.
Then we go to the only nice restaurant in town called The Love Apple, which in France is the tomato. As we are waiting outside by the firepit, one of our Persian moms remind us that it is Char-Shambe-Soori that night.
The tradition is that the Tuesday night before the persian new year, one must jump over fires so that the evil and bad spirits following you are burned away so you can start the new year fresh! Well, we had a fire pit but it was kinda tall so I had to pick everyone up over the fire one by one. Good times! It was funny trying to explain to the waitress what we were doing.
We went to the only cantina afterwards to see what the nightlife was all about. And it was all about...nothing.
Earlier that day, I had stole one of the girls' keycards. When we went our separate ways, the guys decided to "haunt" the girls. Our plan was to get into their room and make subtle noises here and there to freak them out. Well, they had chain locked their door so the key didn't work. We just scratched the door, knocked on their back window, and made a weird rock sculpture outside their door. Soon enough, they started calling us. We pretended to be asleep. We all went over there and they... were... SCARED.
It would have been perfect if we didn't wake up the neighbors and they came knocking, but OH WELL!
Next morning went to a biosctucture where they made houses out of recyclables. Then went on a nature hike up a mountain, took some glamour shots and hit the road!
2 hours outside of Austin was fun when our car broke down. Luckily, it wasn't that big a deal (....we think) and we made it home.
