I went and chilled with some friends the other day at this pretty cool indie, hipster, coolio, emo bar. It was actually pretty tight. I had low expectations but then the most amazing thing happened.... I saw this guy from across the way. He was wearing the most glorious sweater I have ever seen. He got in line to go to the bathroom. I had to talk to him.
*** Quick sidenote, I am not gay. With that in mind, please continue***
There is a reason I wanted to talk to him so badly. It's because I have in my possession an equally amazing sweater...
So I go to him (he's waiting to go to the bathroom mind you) and compliment his sweater and give him mad props for wearing it. I explain I have the same sweater and that we are awesome! Just as he is opening the door to the restroom, I'm telling him that I'd like to take a picture with him when he gets out...awkward? I don't care!
So he introduces himself as Trey and he knew a bunch of facts about unicorns! Something about Narwhales and that unicorn in Japanese is actually one of their popular beers. He was pretty cool, except for the fact that he thought I was super weird.
It was awesome because I have never seen anyone wear something like that except me and a couple friends who bought them to be funny on a road trip together. But then it got cool when we sewed our nicknames in the back.
Only like 2 my friends and I still actually wear them, so seeing Trey was a mind blaster!
Suffice it to say, it made my night. :)
